About Rotary Club of Greenland Kathmandu
The Rotary Club of Greenland Kathmandu, chartered on May 4, 2021. The club operating under Rotary International District 3292 (Nepal–Bhutan). Established by a group of committed professionals and community leaders, the club proudly upholds Rotary’s global motto, “Service Above Self,” and works tirelessly to address community needs through service, leadership, and collaboration.
Since its inception, RC Greenland Kathmandu has successfully implemented numerous impactful projects in key focus areas such as healthcare, education, and environmental sustainability. These initiatives include free health and cervical screening camps, blood donation programs, wheelchair distribution, and fruit-tree plantation. Each project is designed to improve quality of life and promote long-term community well-being.
The club places strong emphasis on fellowship, leadership development, and ethical service, encouraging members to actively participate in meaningful projects while building lasting personal and professional relationships. Regular meetings, training programs, and joint activities strengthen unity and enhance member engagement.
Committed to expanding its impact, RC Greenland Kathmandu actively collaborates with local organizations, foundations, Clubs, NGOs, and fellow Rotary clubs. Through teamwork, innovation, and compassion, the club continues to promote peace, goodwill, and sustainable development, striving to create positive and lasting change across communities in Nepal.
